  • I have been teaching about God’s love this summer at our mission on top of the mountain. It has been amazing to watch how different people respond to His love when we talk about it. But no one has amazed me more than my four year old. She so naturally equates the love of God with what is supposed to happen. I am in awe of that child like faith in God’s love.

  • I’m not perfect by any means, but I am so thankful that God can look at me through Christ’s eyes and see perfection!

  • “While we were yet sinners God commanded His love toward us…” God’s love has taught me how to love not just those who i think deserve it but especially those who don’t. God knows I didn’t deserve it and He loves me anyway!

  • Para mi Logos 5 es algo extraordinario, espero en Dios que todo este software nos sirva tanto a mi como a los que conmigo estudias su palabra

  • I really thank God for His amazing grace, love and mercy as He has saved me and revealed Himself and His salvation to me through His Word and through His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for my sins and rose again for my justification (Rom 4:25) although I do not deserve. Furthermore, I am greatly grateful to the Lord for graciously calling me to serve Him as a witness unto my Savior Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8), as a preacher of His Word (2 Tim 4:2) and as a pastor of His flock (Acts 20:28) to share His love and His truth to the people around me. All thanks, praise and glory be to the Lord alone. Amen.

Although an iPad mini is a unique item to have, what I truly value is the proper tools for Greek and Hebrew study available in Logos 5. #MyGoodNews!

  • While we often do not recognize the graces of God in our lives, once in awhile the Lord pulls back the veil and we see His handiwork. The Lord has blessed me with a loving, devote, husband. A man whose eyes are fixed on the Lord and therefore enable him to see his way clear to shepherd his family.I am a better wife, mother, Christian, because of his love.

  • I was saved while attending a bible study in my college years! So glad my friend took a risk and asked me to go!

  • God redeemed me and walks with me daily without fail. I fail Him but He is relentless–He doesn’t abandon me. He picks me up when I stumble and dusts me off. His Spirit confronts me with what I need when I need it. His Word speaks to me as well.

  • I am going on a mission trip to Ethiopia…talk about loving me into evangelism! Ten years ago I thought mission trips were intrusions, now I know they are divine interventions!

  • I was on a path to self-destruction. Through God’s loving will, I ended up incarcerated. I realized just how much God loves me, that while I was yet a sinner He gave His Son to die as a perfect sacrifice, to take on my sins so I could take on His righteousness. I’ve never stopped studying His Word since, whether printed on paper or stored electronically.

  • God’s love has worked in my life in the fact that I am still alive. Of my own merit I only deserve death.

  • Through His great love for me and with the help of His grace, God has freed me from several deeply rooted habitual sins–an abundant answer to much prayer. Blessed be God! #MyGoodNews

  • God is awesome, He is more than I could ever imagine, words are not enough to describe His amazing love and grace toward a sinner like me. To Him be the Glory forever!

  • The only reason that I cannot condemn myself now as a dirty, filthy Sinner is because of The Bible. I used to think that I can change my life; dreaming that one day I will have the power to forsake my dirty Desires.

However, the Truth has been Recorded in the bible in Romans 3:20,Galatians 2:16. When i believe that I CAN NEVER BE RIGHTEOUS, NEVER BE HOLY BY MY ZEAL OR EFFORTS, WHEN I ARRIVED AT THAT POINT WHERE I CANNOT HELP BUT GO TO HELL!! A LIGHT THEN SHONE IN MY HEART THAT GOD HAS ALREADY MADE ME HOLY.(Hebrews 10:10; 2 Cor 5:21). PRAISE THE LORD. I now testify to everyone NOT BY WORKS, BUT BY GRACE.

  • His love has primarily worked in my life by teaching to live by His grace and to demonstrate His grace to others.

  • How has God worked in my life?
He gave me my wonderful husband, we have traveled the world learning all about His children for 44 years. God has watched and guided every step of the way. We have met so many of His children and been able to talk to many that became His children. Soon God will carry my love home, but I am not afraid nor is my love ,for we know God is there to carry us through times that are difficult by His grace . God is such an awesome God!!!

  • God has been showing me how stubborn I am and has been gently steering me back to him with his grace and love.

  • OH!how wonderful is the love of Christ and Grace Of God to me at this hard time in this period of life, despite all this the Lord is good all the times, with all the corruption around His unchanging and promises keeps me on the go I PRAISE you the OMNIPOTENT GOD.

  • From the pesant family without hope ,a polygamous home in the interior of africa God saw me through school without ressources materially,i am now a senior manager with the United Nations , how did i get there only God alone knows, where am i hearing to only Hod knows,i am being persecuted now because in my country one needs to ne related to some person in authority and belong to the rulling party, ethnie group to adhere and aspire to become or hold such an office, to my folks i do not have any of such , the question now is who is behind this Guy?my secret answer is God.

  • Jesus todavia esta trabajando en mi vida, me lo hace saber
Cada dia cada momento cuando no encuentro respuestas.
    El me ama.

  • We serve God not because of what He can do for us but because of what He has already done for us.

  • God has really saved my life several times. February 27th 2005, I was shot by armed robbers and I survived it. Also, I entered a bus in the year 1998, on a second thought I decided to step down from the bus and followed another bus. It was not up to 15 minutes I left the bus, the bus I entered initially had an accident and everybody died. In March 18th 2009, a building I just left collapsed just 5second I stepped outside the building. God has really been kind to me. I am really grateful for all the things God almighty has done for me. I have many testimonies. God is great and remains great forever.

  • I was introduced to Jesus 38 years ago. From a life without higher education and thus menial jobs, he elevated me; sent me to Bible College where I got my degree and then sent me to China for 20 years. He made my life meaningful.
Through all the difficulties I always knew who my provider was (and still is) and I never, never ever went without something that I needed. Furthermore, I had the enormous pleasure of seeing a good number of people become children of God.
What more could a person want? PTL!

  • My favorite verse on what God’s love has accomplished for me: See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:1-3

  • God in His grace and mercy helped me see the lies I was believing about myself and about Himself, that were not from God, but from the evil one.

  • A lesson we are learning… When things happen that seem like the end of your dreams, the end of your world… When nothing is going right and everything is going wrong, He is still in control and not surprised by your circumstances. Look at Joseph. Sold into slavery, falsely accused, put into prison… And his response to his brothers:

“And now do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life. For the famine has been in the land these two years, and there are yet five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvest. And God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant on earth, and to keep alive for you many survivors. So it was not you who sent me here, but God.” Gen 45:5-8

The key word is learning. Two years ago we returned from asia, fully believing that we would return long term. It was and is our desire. However, God clearly (and somewhat painfully) closed the door on that dream (at least for now). And then we had two years of job searching with my husband never knowing if his current position would be available for the following nine week term. There’s a lot more that we struggled with… I won’t go into detail.

Now, He quite clearly (and lovingly!) has made it plain that we are where He wants us to be and I am so very thankful for that. He moved us to another state where we are surrounded by family for the first time in our 12 years of marriage. He has given (yes, given) us a house with no mortgage. My husband has a full-time secure job. But more than that he is using us for his glory to minister to those around us and drawing us closer together as husband and wife at the same time. By giving us a house, he freed up our finances to be able to support others doing the same work that we hoped to do ourselves.

God has done so very much in our lives… continually demonstrating his love for us. This is just a small example of that.

  • God graciously cancelled the debt against me through Christ, so now i can live every day, not as a condemned man, but with passion and joy and peace and rest in Christ.

  • When I was fourteen my mother fell unexpectedly, and seriously ill with a brain tumour we had no idea about. She was heli-lifted to a larger hospital two hours away for emergency surgery there take took about eight hours. While she was in surgery I slept in a hotel room with my arms wrapped around the hotel Bible. It was removed successfully with surgery but she developed a serious infection and was in hospital for five months. I spent at least an hour every time I visited her (at first my dad and I stayed in a hotel there for a month but when it became too expensive we went back to his house then I began visiting twice a week, driven two hours each way by a family friend) in the multi-denominational hospital chapel, crying and praying and crying and praying. I wish I could say that she made a miraculous recovery out of nowhere, but she didn’t. It took hard work, more surgery, removal of the bone in her forehead and replacement with a titanium plate, and some seriously scary times. Fortunately I knew God was with me all the way and I have always partially credited God with her recovery (of course, some credit has to go to the surgeons, doctors, nurses, etc who treated her, even if we are ultimately all tools of God). Thanks for reading!

  • With gods love i know he is watching over me and protecting me. I just hope someday he will grant my other wish.

  • In May of this year I had to have major abdominal surgery. I had necrosis, endometriosis & cysts in my abdomen. The surgeon told me that the work she did on me was worse than when she performs surgery on a cancer patient. While I was still in the operating room the surgeon called my mom and asked her did I ever complain of excessive pain or bleeding. My mom’s response was, “No, she never mentioned anything to me!” Even though I didn’t know anything was wrong with my body the Lord knew!I could have died but the Lord preserved me. The surgeon also performed cosmetic surgery on me which she didn’t have to do! When I was four years old I had a umbilical hernia operation. (They removed my navel!) The surgeon created one for me! She said, “I saw that you didn’t have one, so I gave you one! I thank God that I don’t look like what I’ve been through. #MyGoodNews

  • After my 20 years of marriage ended and losing my job, I fell into a depression. I felt unloved for most of that marriage. I began to believe I was unlovable and that something must be wrong with me. I rebelled and walked away from God. I use to think that if God loved me so much then why would he allow this to happen, and why can’t I feel His love. I needed it more than ever at that point. I remember getting on my knees and crying from the depths of my heart, “Lord, please show me how much you love me, I know I don’t deserve it because of the way I am living but I need You, I need to feel You.” I no longer wanted to live the same life of sin, I deeply desired to change my ways. I know that was God who changed my heart. His amazing grace and His unconditional love drew me to go back to Church, join a Divorce Care and to address my sins by joining Celebrate Recovery. My weekends were now filled with God’s presence instead of alcohol and bars. It was a long and painful journey and yet God never ever left me or gave up on me. I know now that He will never stop loving me. If His love could penetrated through a heart full of sin and selfishness (in my most unlovable state) then it can penetrate through any problem or trial I or you will ever have. May God’s amazing love be with ALL of you❤

  • There have been many times in my life that I have enjoyed the Lord’s matchless love, but the most earth shattering time was when my daughter 8months was burned in a bathtub incident and given a 3% chance to live. During the 5 week hospital stay & the two year rehab program my wife and I learned of the love of God through reading the Psalms each day together. He each day He met us just where we were and many times picked us up from fear & despair. Through those dark days His love brought us to a greater love for Him and each other. We have had many times of going back to that time in life and been reminded that if He could love us then He still loved us today.
May the God of peace be yours during difficult times

  • An act of fate brought me to southern Florida where we have started attending church at the Calvary Church in Ft. Lauderdale. This has helped bring our family closer together, even though we are further away from our extended families.

  • Everybody saying that they have not seen god but, let me tell you that i have seen the God….yahh. Its true i have seen my God enjoying, laughing, carrying, loving in every way i saw them……my parent’s is my God and i am the lucky guy to enjoy the company of God every day….

They have helped me and helping me in each and every step of life……

Love you so much mummy and pappa….

  • How has God’s love worked in my life? That’s a hard question to answer because it is so broad. But I will put it like this: I am astounded that God would love me and pursue me even though I’m a rebellious, deeply flawed sinner.

  • It’s made me realize that I am His Masterpiece and “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord, and because We love because he first loved us, His love is expressed in the Cross and it overwhelms me to think that I am loved like this and I a dinner do not deserve it, and because of his grace I am able to live for him and spread the Gospel through his spirit and love people #MyGoodNews

  • God’s love has overwhelmed my sense of understanding and overthrown my self-governance. Now I live in loving relationship with Him, with Him in control.

  • God’s love has continually worked in my life since I gave my life to him as a young boy. There have been times that I was not loving toward him – but I am grateful that His love is always faithful – always forgiving.

  • GOD’s Love is evident when I see those that the Lord has allowed me teach and lead in Sunday School and as a youth leader that have now grown up and are now taking leadership positions in a young growing church plant (these were some of the toughest young people, that caused me to walk out of the classes in tears due to their behavior).

  • I grew up in a Catholic home and always felt like I was forced to go to church. So at an early age I knew that God wasn’t the way they spoke of Him in catechism classes and wasn’t so much of a rule oriented God that the teachers told me about. So being a rule breaking teenager I left the Catholic Church and went to the world and started doing drugs. Even though I knew all along that something was wrong (I always had a voice telling me it was). So a couple years pass and I hear about a crusade with skateboarding, DJing and breakdancing, all the stuff that I used to love before I was on drugs. I heard the gospel that day in 2001 and started going to church on and off. But 2004 I fell away after losing my job and started using meth regularly. Started to hang around a lot of people who were doing the same thing and were also gang affiliated. So I would do meth with these people and we didn’t always have money to get more meth so we would resort to doing crazy things to get it. I sold one of my brother’s car stereos we stole from many stores using fraudulent checks, I even stole a couple cars. But God began to speak to me more and more as I got deeper into meth so a year later I felt God was speaking to me very strongly to come back to Him and remember that I was His child. So I did and I’ve been clean from Meth since 2005, and I feel God has used me in many things ever since being delivered. I have helped with the youth at my old church, served in Missions in Haiti, Africa and most recently the Philippines. And now God is constantly reminding me of His Good News and salvation for those who would accept it and it humbles me daily and gives me hope. This is how I know His love.

  • God Gave me life with around me loving people, that’s biggest god gift god gave me.

Thank You God,and keep blessed in future me.

  • God’s love has shown me that I don’t have to earn love and I can give up trying to prove myself worthy.

  • I see God’s love in my wife and children. They are so much more than I deserve. But it is a small glimpse of the love God has for me.

  • GOD’s love has worked greatly in my life. From salvation, to manhood, to making me a better husband and father and daily in His word showing me my need for Him and how much I don’t deserve his love.

  • I am a sinner and God forgave my sins to be called as his child. I enjoy my personal relationship with Jesus. All the blessings that he gave to my life and family, I owe to him. To God be the glory!!!!!

  • I praise God that He healed my epilepsy and through this He gave me eternal life and He has given me chance to proclaim the good news of our healer of soul and body!

  • Ephesians tells us that God is rich in mercy and that the plan of salvation is instigated and carried out because of His great love. I trusted Christ at age 4. My testimony doesn’t include being saved out of a host of sin, my testimony is about God saving me FROM a host of sin and while I am a sinner I am saved by grace and learning what all His love has rescued me from. His love is not a one time offering given when we receive Christ. The Love of God is a steady stream that pours His mercy and grace into our lives. In love He saved me from a life of sin, in love He rescued me from rebellion and a heart of apathy, in love He pursues me and lifts me when I fall, and in love He is molding my life to reflect Jesus Christ. “What Wonderous Love Is This!”

  • He never fails me in everything i wanted, he never forget to forgive me in every sin i’ve made. i thank him and love for that wonderful eternal love for me #MyGoodNews

  • God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and two beautiful daughters, a fantastic church to pastor, and most amazingly, have been saved by an amazing God!!! #MyGoodNews

  • What a powerful evening at James River Church last night. I am so thankful my friend had an extra ticket for me to purchase.
