Logos Summer Training: A New Way to Search the Bible

We’ve spent 25 years tagging the biblical text in Logos so you can search for characters, events, concepts, things, even metaphors and rhetorical questions.

Bible Browser is the easiest way to use this rich tagging in Logos. Find texts that include precise grammatical features, find speeches by particular Bible figures, discover how often a key topic arises in a particular literary genre—you will never exhaust the possibilities of the Bible Browser.

In this week’s video, we’ll use the Bible Browser to find all the imperatives in the book of James and create a verse list. We’ll also search through the book of Proverbs to find fatherly advice, and then we’ll narrow our search to topics—like character, honesty, and honor. These are just a few examples of how you can use the new Bible Browser to make amazing discoveries in God’s Word.
