Logos Base Packages Are Now Available in 6 Languages!

Our vision at Faithlife is to increase increase biblical literacy and accessibility for every Christian around the world. To truly fulfill that vision, it’s not enough to continue creating new versions of Logos Bible Software in English. We want to reach as many people as possible in their own language. That’s why today, we’re pleased to announce the release of a Korean version of Logos Bible Software.

We’ve been working hard over the last few years to equip Christians all over the world with the tools that will help them grow in the light of God’s Word. In 2016 we released new packages in Portuguese, German, Chinese, Spanish, and English. And with today’s Korean release, 3 billion people around the world can now use Logos in their native language.

So many of us are here at Faithlife precisely because we believe in this vision and personally resonate with our mission to use technology to equip the church to grow in the light of the Bible. That’s one reason these new releases over the last year have been so exciting. From a free version of Logos, to new base packages like 브론즈 (Korean Bronze), it’s deeply rewarding to pass on our heart for the Bible to Christians all over the globe.

A burden for the global church has always been with us. All the way back in 2003, the “about us” page on Logos.com said, “It’s our responsibility to ensure that the investment in technology that we can afford to make because we serve the western church pays dividends for the whole world.” In other words, we recognized that we were in a privileged position, and we felt a burden to serve the global church as a result.

Fourteen years later, that’s just as true.

“It’s thrilling to bring a mature tool like ours to millions of Christians around the world,” says Phil Gons, vice president of Bible study products.

The new releases increase the availability of digital Bible study resources for pastors, missionaries, and other Christians around the globe. “This is an important milestone for us, and for the Church at large,” says Faithlife CEO and co-founder Bob Pritchett. “We founded the company with a vision of increasing biblical literacy around the world. Expanding the accessibility of our tools to so many people at once is especially rewarding as we celebrate 25 years in 2017.”
