Dr. Timothy Keller: Faithlife Study Bible Contributor

The Faithlife Study Bible is always adding rich content—most recently, “Old Testament Law and the Charge of Inconsistency,” an article by New York Times bestselling author and Redeemer Presbyterian church senior pastor Dr. Timothy Keller. Dr. Keller’s focus on Jesus’ character, ministry, and work has influenced the Christian community at large and resulted in Redeemer’s growth from 50 to over 5,000 members.

Dr. Keller’s FSB article takes a look at common objections to Christianity that stem from perceived inconsistencies in the Old Testament Law. Old Testament prohibitions no longer practiced today include:

  • Eating raw meat, pork, or shellfish
  • Executing people for breaking the Sabbath
  • Wearing clothes woven with two kinds of materials

Yet, of course, the Old Testament is full of guidelines that we should still follow today. Find out how Dr. Keller addresses these perceived inconsistencies in the Faithlife Study Bible!
