Neither Poverty nor Riches: A Biblical Theology of Possessions

From the acclaimed New Studies in Biblical Theology series (NSBT), Neither Poverty nor Riches dives deep into the Bible’s teaching on possessions.

On a subject as sensitive as this one, it is extraordinarily rare to find balance and prophetic voice rolled up in one. In my view, this is now the best book on the entire subject.

— D. A. Carson, Research Professor of New Testament, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School

Select Works of Lesslie Newbigin (7 vols.)

Lesslie Newbigin (1909–1998) was a famed missiologist and bishop in the Church of South India. He also held leadership roles on the Central Committee of the World Council of Churches, the International Missionary Council, and the Division of World Mission and Evangelism.

This collection includes Newbigin’s thought on everything from the radical Islam movement to the possibility of religious life in secular society. Newbigin’s thoughtful and practical words demonstrate the relevance of overarching theological issues such as the nature of the Church and the essence of conversion.
