A Theology for Apologists: Geisler’s Magnum Opus

This week only, take 40% off the renowned apologist’s massive systematic theology.

Evangelical theologian Norman Geisler has been one of the most prolific and influential voices in apologetics. For more than forty years, the internationally known author, speaker, and debater has studied and defended the faith.

J.P. Moreland, professor at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, says of Geisler:

In an age when specialization abounds, Norman Geisler exemplifies that rare and precious ability to bring together facility in the three areas necessary to do systematic theology: detailed philosophical training, facility in the categories of theology, and ability to exegete the biblical text. I know of no one who brings these skills together better than Geisler…. When these skills are combined with Geisler’s excellence as a communicator, the result is powerful indeed.

  1. If you want to learn what Norman Geisler thinks, this is a great resource. If, however, you want to know what anyone else (e.g., the Church Fathers, Theologians, or other Apologists he quotes) thinks – read their own work. Geisler’s peculiar mix of Dispensational Baptist theology and quasi-Thomistic philosophy does not represent the thinking of virtually anyone in the history of Christianity, and his attempt to bolster this menagerie with quotes is misleading at best.
