How to Copy a Logos Document

In a recent blog post I erroneously communicated we could not make copies of Logos files. I was thinking of the absence of that feature on the Documents menu, but I totally forgot about making copies at

So in this blog post, I’ll correct the record and show you how to copy a Logos file:

  • Choose the Documents menu (A)
  • Click the Share documents link in the lower left of the menu (B)

  • Notice your web browser opens to your personal page (C)
  • Rest the cursor on the file you wish to copy (D)
  • Click the Actions drop down list on the far right (E)
  • Select Duplicate (F)

  • Return to the Logos Documents menu (G) and you’ll see a copy of the file (H)

I apologize for the original oversight of this feature, but I hope you can now make use of multiple copies of existing files!

  1. The link to the print versions of the manuals goes to an empty page. Are they out of print?

  2. Pat Brown says:

This brings to mind a question I have regarding the copying of documents. I belong to several Faithlife Groups and each group page has a category called “Documents.” If I click on that, I see documents from group members and there’s a Action button. The drop down box offers several options. If I wish to have a copy, I can select that but don’t know where the copy goes. I’ve looked in the Document Section of the main Logos page but it isn’t there. I read somewhere that you needed to go thru the synchronize wheel and I’ve tried that. It turns, but still I can’t find the document. (Nor have I found a tutorial on this subject).

What about sharing the file with one other logos user, not an entire Group? Is this possible? If so, how? Thanks!
