What If People Really Studied Their Bibles in 2017?

jonah30day-announce
We all know the most respectable New Year’s resolution a Christian can make is “Read the Bible every day.” What if this year we didn’t just resolve to do it, but we actually did it?

Logos Bible Software is here to help you turn your resolution into reality. The Logos Pro team has put together a brand new, free 30-day course in which we’ll show you how to study Jonah 1:1–16 using the powerful tools in Logos. Thirty free videos, three simple steps: Observe, Interpret, Apply.

What will the 30-day challenge teach you?

Observation, Interpretation, and Application is a three-step process that helps you slow down your reading to notice things in the text you may have glossed over before, even a hundred times before. This method can be used in any format, even with a pen and a paper Bible; but every Logos tool is another ounce of pressure on your brakes as you drive through Jonah. It’s another degree of power in your magnifying glass as you examine the text—and another 1,000 feet of elevation in your hot air balloon as you try to get the big picture. (More metaphors available upon request.)

You can take the course without owning Logos, but there’s no reason. We have a 30-day, money-back guarantee on our base packages. If digging into Jonah using our tools for a month doesn’t persuade you to keep those tools, I’ll be very surprised. But you’ll still walk away with insight into an artistically beautiful and spiritually powerful little minor prophet: the (in)famous Jonah.

Take the challenge!

  1. Johnny Primeau says:

Do we need to have Logos 7? I have Logos 6—will this be okay to use?

    • You will get great value out of the course if you have just Logos 6, but to get full value you’ll need Logos 7. Thankfully, you can buy an upgrade with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If we can’t persuade you to keep those tools, it’s our own fault. =)
