What’s special about the Life Application Bible Commentary Series?

It’s ideal for personal or group study and sermon preparation. Though committed to exegetical and theological rigor, the LABC holds true to its name, highlighting how every verse of Scripture applies directly to your life.

It uses insightful quotes from church leaders and theologians like John Calvin, Martin Luther, John Wesley, A.W. Tozer, C.S. Lewis and more to drive the meaning and application of Scripture home.

The LABC seamlessly integrates modern versions of the Bible and accompanies them with charts, diagrams, maps, and illustrations to help you reveal and communicate biblical truth to others.

How are the volumes laid out?

In addition, to the typical format of a commentary (introduction, commentary, and references) the Life Application Bible Commentary series also provides personal help, teaching notes, and sermon ideas that will answer tough questions, and give biblical insight for implementing God’s Word in your life.
