A Godward Life: Savoring the Supremacy of God in All of Life by John Piper

This collection of 120 brief meditations concentrates on savoring the supremacy of God in all of life. These daily meditations encompass many topics—from intensely personal concerns to vital public and cultural issues—yet are all deeply rooted in Scripture. They are intended to help you place God fully at the center of every thought, every action, every choice, and every love—at the center of all that you are and all that you do.

Simply Christian by N.T. Wright

Simply Christian is essential reading for anyone who wants to consider the real fundamentals of Christianity or is intrigued by its claims about the place of justice, beauty, and love in our daily lives. Written in a lively and accessible style, though rooted in solid scholarship, this book describes the exciting relevance of the Bible and the Christian story for the contemporary world. N.T. Wright’s contribution to this intense debate brings fresh clarity to many puzzling questions.

Power and Peace in Prayer by R.A. Torrey

This title is designed so that it can be read in one sitting. R.A. Torrey’s classic text is a spiritual gem that has remained popular for over 100 years, celebrating the power of prayer. Beginning with the importance of prayer, Torrey’s practical guidebook covers the how, the when, and—most importantly—the why of praying. This version is an excellent devotional resource for any Christian library.

The Tablet Bundle also includes Christian Perfection by P.T. Forsyth, The Unexpected Jesus by R.C. Sproul, Sovereign Grace by D.L. Moody, The Imitation of Christ by Thomas à Kempis, and The Gifts of the Child Christ and Other Tales by George MacDonald.

  1. Nickolas Steffen says:

What’s unique about these resources that makes them “designed with your mobile device in mind”? What mobile-specific features have been embedded into these particular resources?

    • Pam Bauthues says:

Hi Nickolas—these resources were primarily chosen because they’re great for reading cover to cover, rather than reference works or other types of resources. They’re great for building a mobile library—you can download them to your devices and read them offline so they’re readily available. (And they’ll still work just the same as any other Logos resources in your desktop software, too.) Hope that helps!

      • I agree – LOGOS is okay – but it’s not Kindle. I would rather buy these books on my Kindle (on the IPAD).

  2. Is there any way I can download these on my Kindle Touch? –I don't like to "free read" on a glowing screen and would prefer the e-ink format of the Kindle Touch.
