6 Reasons That Shouldn’t Stop You from Getting Logos 6

2-days-left-logos-6-introductory-offersIf you’ve been thinking about getting Logos 6, but you’re still on the fence, don’t wait any longer: now is the best time to get it, and you’ll be kicking yourself on Tuesday if you don’t get it now.

But rest assured—here are some answers for six concerns you may have:

1. I don’t want to lose my books.

One of the best things about investing in a Logos library is that once a book is yours, it’s yours forever. You purchase licenses to each book in your library, and you’ll always keep them—even if you upgrade or purchase a new base package.

And when you purchase a resource once, you’ll never have to worry about paying for it again. With Dynamic Pricing, we take everything you already own into account, so you’ll never accidentally pay for the same thing twice.

2. I already have enough books.

Even if you think you’ll never read through everything in your library, adding more books will make it more powerful and increase the value of the books you already own.

But if you’re completely satisfied with your library’s content, we created a series of Logos 6 options just for you. With a crossgrade, you can get all of Logos 6’s tools and functionality without adding a new library. These tools will integrate with your current library, and you’ll get all the latest search options, interactive media, original-language tools, and much more.

3. I don’t think I’ll use Logos 6’s full functionality.

Logos 6 ties your Bible study together through media resources, interactive tools, and in-depth study aids that allow you to go deep into the Word. There’s something for everyone, so even if you don’t use every single tool to its full potential, you’ll find something to enhance your study.

Do you prepare presentations each week for your congregation or classroom? Visual Copy will help you create high-quality slides as you study. Does your research focus on biblical stories and accounts? Use Cultural Concepts and the Factbook to dig into the context surrounding that Scripture. Are you researching the Bible’s original languages? Try out Textual Variants and the Sense Section to dig into the meanings behind different translations and meanings.

Even if you never use all of Logos 6’s tools, you’ll find something to improve your study and help you share your findings.

Check out these step-by-step tutorials that show you what Logos 6 can do and guide you through new tools and capabilities.

4. I can’t afford a new base package.

If a base package isn’t in your budget right now, you have a couple of options.

You can take advantage of interest-free payment plans and spread out the cost over up to 24 months. That means you only pay a fraction up front, pay for the rest over time, and start using your new software right away.

Or, if you already have a base package from a previous version, you could also upgrade to Logos 6 with a tradition-specific base package, getting all of Logos 6’s tools and functionality while taking advantage of Dynamic Pricing for books and resources you already own. Just sign in to discover how much you can save—it might be more than you’d expect.

6. I’m just not convinced.

If you don’t believe us, take it from the people who know best! Here’s what current Logos 6 users are saying about their software:

After researching the product, I purchased the Gold package and have been using it every day. I will say there is a learning curve to this software, but it isn’t a wearisome task. It is actually a delight to learn.

—Jason G., Logos 6 Gold owner

Great updates! New resources for Psalms and Proverbs are fantastic for discovering relationships within each book. It seems I’m continually discovering new ways to look at and understand textual relationships.

—Ken V., Logos 6 Platinum owner

Excellent resource for real Bible study. The software collects the resources for you, all you have to do is read. I don’t know of any Bible software that comes close to Logos.

—Calvin C., Logos 6 Diamond owner

I do not know what I would do without Logos 6. It has been a godsend. . . . If you don’t have it, buy! It is worth it just for the Passage Guide and Exegetical Guide alone.

It’s hard for me to purchase this as I did with Logos 5 and then having to purchase a training cd or videos.

    • Gary Anderson says:

The customer service dude sent me the link to the Logos 6 training videos. I watched them all in one afternoon and by the weekend, I was doing serious Bible study on the passages and topics that I’m preparing to teach.

  3. Logos remains prohibitively expensive even with “interest free payments”. Very useful indeed, but still very expensive!
