The #1 Tool for Getting the Most out of Logos Bible Software

Have you ever wondered how to set up a reading plan in Logos Bible Software? Or how to do a syntax search? Or how to compare different Bible translations? Or how to . . . .

Chances are, you’re not alone.

But did you know there’s a whole community of Logos users who have either already answered your questions or are literally available to help 24/7? And we’re not talking about vague help that leaves you more confused than you were before. We’re talking step-by-step instructions, screenshots, and creative tips. One user has even made a series of tutorial videos!

I’m not exaggerating in the slightest when I say you can get immediate help in the forums with just about anything.

A couple weeks ago I decided to do a little demo to show how great this community is. I posted a question that someone had written on our Facebook page about how to do a certain type of search in Logos. In 19 minutes I had way more information than I even knew was out there!

Why so much engagement?

I don’t know about you, but I’ve never seen such an engaged, helpful online community before! In less than 2 years, a number of our users have posted over 3,000 times. Some have posted almost 8,000 times. That’s nearly 11 posts a day, 365 days a year!

I asked a couple of our power users why they give so much time to the Logos community. Here’s what they had to say:

I realized that reading posts and answering questions were the best way to learn how to use Logos. . . . I’m constantly learning new approaches and questions to bring to the text. I love helping people to figure out how to study the Bible better and I can do that every day on Logos’ forums. —Kevin Becker

Logos has been such an amazing blessing to me that it’s hard not to interact with my fellow Logos users! —Robert Pavich

Since God’s Word bears eternal fruit in our lives, I feel I am investing in something that is eternal, and hopefully, brings God greater glory. —Mark A. Smith

I’ve learned more about using Logos from the forums than in any other way. . . . As more and more pastors benefit from Logos Bible Software, Logos is making a difference in the lives of millions of Christians around the world. . . . And let’s not forget the tens (hundrends?) of thousands of laymen and women who find Logos helpful in deepening their faith and helping them understand the Bible better. Why wouldn’t someone want to be a part of that? —Mark Barnes

We started the Logos user forums in June, 2009. It took just over a year and a half for 40,000 users to join, and today we’re quickly approaching 43,000 users. The reason? Because this community is so involved and willing to help!
