Logos 4: Look Up Multiple Cross References at Once

mp|seminars Tips

Today’s post is from Morris Proctor, certified and authorized trainer for Logos Bible Software. Morris has trained thousands of Logos users at his two-day Camp Logos training seminars.

Perhaps you enjoy studying the Bible through a series of cross references. If so, you’re familiar with the cross references placed inline the biblical text. In Logos 4, cross references are hyperlinked which means resting the mouse pointer on a link reveals a popup of the biblical passage from your Preferred Bible.

You can also look up numerous cross references at one time. Here’s how:

  • Open a Bible
  • Open Power Lookup from the Tools menu
  • In the Bible, select (highlight) text containing the cross references you want to look up

The Power Lookup displays only the selected cross references!

What is needed to attend your seminar in NYC?
I live about 90 miles from NY City and would like to attend – if it fits my schedule.

  2. Hi Tom,
The only thing that is needed for you to attend is to register for Camp Logos.
Bringing a laptop with Logos 4 installed and indexed is recommended, but as far as what hardware/software you need to attend—nothing. If all you have is a desktop computer for home or work, when you register, you can reserve a laptop (for an extra $20) that will be waiting for you when you arrive. And in some cases, you can even bring your desktop.
Morris has tried to make it as easy as possible to attend. If you have any other questions about Camp, please contact MP|seminars at (877) 237-3168.

  3. So worth it Tom.
I am a 2 time alum and recently attended in Kansas City, Mo. Thrilled with the training.
    Hope you can make it.

  4. I just noticed that if you leave the ‘Power Lookup’ window open, and set it to ‘follow’, it will automatically look up the cross-references that are in the current window of any resource you are reading (Bible, commentary, etc).

  5. Totally concur with Andy’s comment. I have put my investment to use since taking Mo’s class in Philly last year.
