Finding all Articles about a Topic in one Book

Tips & Tricks blog SetToday's guest post is from Morris Proctor, certified and authorized trainer for Logos Bible Software. Morris has trained thousands of Logos users at his two-day Camp Logos training seminars.

Sometimes it's possible to locate additional articles about a specific subject without having to execute a search.

For example, open the Logos Deluxe Map Set. Type Corinth in the Current Reference box and press Enter. A map about Corinth opens. Now press the Reference Locations arrow to the right of the box. A list of all the maps containing Corinth appears! Click one and you're there.

Look for the Reference Locations arrow in other books especially topically indexed books like dictionaries. This can be a real time saver.

This threw me for a bit because I didn't remember a "Reference Locations Arrow" the right of the text box. Then I went and checked. On the windows version of Logos, it is clearly an black downward turned arrow. On the Mac version, it is a different symbol with a tiny arrow below it. I don't even know how to describe the mac symbol to be honest! :)

It would be helpful when doing these tips to check whether the tip is for both versions, only one or if the tip needs to be slightly modified since there are two platforms (windows/mac) now.

Good tip though. It is always a big help to remember these little things you can forget that make life so much easier.

Thanks, Logos Blog and Morris Proctor! This series of TIPS always has something really useful for this (relatively) seasoned user of seveb years or so.
