The long-awaited Apostolic Fathers in Greek and English has shipped! This includes three editions of the writings of the Apostolic Fathers (each edition has both Greek and English text, so six resources in all). More info, of course, is on the product page.
I thought I'd take a few posts and show some of the things you can do with these resources. Today's video has to do with general use of the resources with some ideas of further things you can do to get more from the books as you read them. Today I'll focus on the English, though I'll focus on the Greek editions in future posts.
Future posts will likely include things like keylink preferences, hovering and highlighting and also integration with the Bible Word Study report.

Rick, thank you very much for a helpful beginning to this series of posts. It seems like a long time ago we signed on for this as a pre-pub and it's wonderful to have it at last. You have sharpened my understanding (and memory!) of several things I discovered while poking around in this great addition to our digital resources.
NOW for a question: I wonder if some future posts showing us things we could do with Josephus might create enough interest to move the GREEKJosephus from "Gathering Interest" to "Under Development" as a pre-pub?

I'm a pre-pub addict, but I didn't know about the Greek Josephus. I think it may be worth publicising it again. Since Logos 3.0 there is much more point in having this morphologically tagged primary resources, because of they way they integrate with the existing reports.
Thanks for this....it was worth the time to find out I could turn off the interlinear information! I've been using logos for years and never knew I could do that.

Thanks for this presentation. It is very helpful. If you make a second part to this introduction, I would like to learn more about using the Apostolic Fathers with the Greek NT, so when I study Romans 1 for example, I can simply find where the fathers qoute from this chapter.
Thanks for your video. I have one problem following you. When I open Holmes -- either English or Greek -- and try to tie them together as a set, I can't. They are both shown to have only indexed to Page numbers. Do we have the same version or what? Thanks.
What are the differences between the three different texts, and how do you find out the strenghts and weakness between the different translators? Thanks.
