Today’s guest post is written by Liz Curtis Higgs. Liz is a New York Times bestselling author of Mine Is the Night, and 27 other books, including her million-selling Bad Girls of the Bible series.

When it comes to biblical research for teaching, speaking, and writing, I’ve always been strictly old school: reference books stacked on my desk, commentaries piled around my feet, and a Strong’s Concordance within reach.

It was cozy and familiar. . . but not very efficient.

I’d waste countless minutes—if not hours—trying to find the right piece of information or a much-needed quote for my work-in-progress, and pulling out my thinning hair in the process.

Then along comes Logos Bible Software, which puts everything I need at my fingertips.

I love the way it looks, like a newspaper on the screen. Simple to navigate, easy to customize, this is a software program for all ages—twenty-something, forty-something, sixty-something—and all levels of computer savvy, from novice to geek.

A Special Word for My Sisters Who Love the Word

Logos 4 is very chick friendly. I watched 40 of us click away like pros after a short, helpful tutorial at the Women in Ministry Summit. It could’ve been the complimentary Starbucks from Team Logos—boosting our brain power, but I still remembered how it all worked when I got home. So I’d say good programming, rather than my Chai Tea Latte, deserves the credit.

We also got a sneak peek at Vyrso, a Christian reading app and ebook store, which Logos recently launched. I was tickled to find my upbeat devotional book, Rise and Shine, among the thousands of titles they’re now offering in Vyrso.

Continued blessings on your efforts to grow and expand. Logos Bible Software makes Bible study not only deeply fulfilling, but also fun!
