Four Years and Counting

Four years ago, on July 29, 2005, Bob kicked off the Logos blog with this introductory post. Here’s why we started the blog:

Our goal is to make Logos more open and accessible and to improve our communication with you. Please join us in the process: ask questions, make suggestions, and tell us how we can serve you better.

From our perspective, the blog has accomplished its purpose fairly well. We’ve posted about 950 times—usually every Monday through Friday—more than 15,000 of you get our daily posts in your RSS reader or email inbox, and you respond with great questions and suggestions that lead us to improve our software, products, and websites.

But there’s always room for improvement.

What would you like to be different here at the blog? More posts? Fewer posts? More people blogging? More posts about Greek? Take our new poll, and leave your feedback in the comments or send it to us at blog@logos.com.

You should follow us on Twitter here.

  1. It is hard to suggest more good ideas for you guys because you have almost done all of them! :) I love the blog posts introducing a ingenious new idea to market logos and make the bible accessible. I think your suggestion of doing more greek studies could be a great way to get interest in the blog. I appreciate when you cover things like that.
How about linking to some sermons from http://www.sermonindex.net once in awhile to bolster inspirational bible study! :)
May there be another 900 posts more, if Christ does not come back!

  2. Hi, I’ve only been following this blog for about six months, but have found it very helpful. I am particularly looking forward to sync-ing my two computers as outlined in a recent post. Keep it coming. Oh yeah, posts about free books are always cool : )

  3. I’d love to see more blogs highlighting resources that we should add to our libraries. What is particularly useful to learn about is what value a particular resource adds in terms of information and capabilities for study. Happy birthday Logos Blog. Many happy returns!

  4. Coupons.

  5. Congratulations! I have read most of those 950 posts since day 1.

This blog has been absolutely wonderful. All I ask is that you continue to provide practical tips regarding how to effectively utilize the logos system for in depth biblical study.
