Review FAQs:
Do I have to be a blogger or journalist to get a review copy?
No. If you have any outlet for sharing a review, then we’ll send you a copy. So, if you have a newsletter, church bulletin, email list, blog, website, skywriting service, or any other way to communicate with people, then you qualify.
How long does my review have to be?
Length is up to you. Obviously, if you’re putting something in a church bulletin, then you’re not going to have room for a full-out review. In that case, an adequate review might sound something like, “There is a great new magazine you should check out. Bible Study Magazine is an excellent resource to aid in your Bible study. More info can be found at www.BibleStudyMagazine.com.” If you’re a blogger, you have more room to review, so feel free to make your review as long as it needs to be.
Do I have to send you a copy of my review?
Short answer, no. However, we would love to see what you thought of the magazine. If you post your review online, drop me an email or post a comment with a link below so we can check it out. If your review appears in print, you’re free to mail a copy to us. Skywriters, please send pictures!

  1. Good Morning:
Don’t worry, we international customers have come to expect this sort of thing. Higher costs due to weaker currencies and fewer perks. Incidentally, I have never received the two copies of this magazine that I actually paid for. I was assured about a month ago that they had been sent.
    Enjoy the day,
    John

  2. Ryan Burns says:

    Hey John,
Thanks for your understanding. As for the copies you ordered, I will check into it and shoot you an email.

  3. The magazine is great. I really enjoyed the first issue, especially the article called The Great Isaiah Scroll. I’ve been recommending it to my friends and just put a blurb on my blog about it.

  4. Hello,
Since it can’t be mailed to the UK how about making a PDF available?
it would allow those who are considering subscribing to see what they may get.
    Thanks
    karl

  5. Thanks Ryan. Please do. I will be looking for your email.

  6. I got and enjoyed the first issue. I had to read some of the articles with a magnifying glass. Some of the font colors were difficult to see. (Yes, I wear bi-focals.) The magazine was full of really good stuff. I was hoping the font size and colors will be reviewed for future editions. Reading from the screens and being able to enlarge the fonts in Logos has spoiled me:) Thanks for a great product!

  7. I’m still waiting for my copy :(. I’m from Brazil. Order #466155, October 08.
Just few words. I better understand than I write in English. :D

  8. Greg Masone says:

Has Logos considered distributing the magazine in PDF format? This could help the international subscribers some.

  9. My Prepub order also shipped on October 08. It arrived about a week ago (Australia). Hope yours arrives soon Jazanias. I’ve also found the magazine good. Little disappointed with Hebrew Study doesn’t showcase practical use of the features of LBS a little bit more – maybe it will in coming magazines – but as to the content of the study I will have to follow it through a bit further before making a call on its overall personal value. Articles showing how to make use of LBS and specific resouces are helpful without being too marketing orientated. I liked the cutting edge article. The disappointing this is I have to wait so long for the next part to arrive in the mail. In the meantime I’ll have to make use of what I have in my LBS library I guess to look further at this topic and others in the magazine :)

  10. Thank you, Andrew. I hope so.

  11. Hi Chuck,
    Thanks for the feedback.
We have heard about the font and color issues from several people and have already made the necessary changes in the Jan-Feb 2009 issue to make the magazine more readable.

  12. We currently have no plans to distribute the magazine in PDF. However, Bob has stated that we plan to eventually have the magazine available electronically:
“For the digerati among us who’ve given up on print and read everything from a screen, we’ll eventually have the magazine content available electronically for Logos Bible Software. In the meantime, though, we hope to use the power of print to reach a new and larger audience whose horizons we can expand and whose curiosity we can pique.”

  13. Unfortunately, it takes a great deal of time for periodicals to reach certain countries.
There is not much we can do about this, since each country chooses to deliver periodicals at their own chosen speed. If the magazine does not arrive within the next week or so, it is likely it got lost in the mail. If it appears to be lost, please send an email to cs@logos.com and they will get another copy sent out to you.

  14. Thanks, John. I’ll wait until monday.
