Now for something really cool!

As I put the finishing touches on the Ugaritic Library, I realized that this was an excellent opportunity to talk about the Logos Bible Software philosophy of data type tagging. After all, there are more than 83,000 Ugaritic data type references tagged so far as part of this project. (83,266 and counting!) Using the Ugaritic Library as a test case, I made a video showing how good data type tagging makes for powerful digital library software, and helps you get the most out of your books.

This post, and Dr. Heiser’s post yesterday, are beautifully done.
This post is also a dandy review of the wonders of the “Exegetical Guide” that is useful for all of us, even those of us who won’t be dropping $295.95 on this amazing project.
NOW A QUESTION: can you all do something similar to boost orders for Josephus in Greek so those of us who are waiting for that can see it move finally from “Gathering Interest” to “Under Development”?

  2. It would be neat to see the collections files for the collections we get a glimpse at with the reference browser shot, but even this small glimpse helps give me ideas about how to start defining my resource associations

  3. What’s the status on this? It’s disappeared from the pre-pub page, yet hasn’t shipped, nor have I been charged. Anxiously awaiting!

  4. Ben, you should receive the product very soon. If you don’t, get in touch with our support department at 800-875-6467 and they can tell you the status of your order.
